Summary
The Senior ASR Engineer will support the ASR R&D team on challenging research problems affecting real-world applications, impacting users globally. This role combines research and development of advanced technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments to evaluate ASR model quality and parameter tuning impact on accuracy.
Identify, optimize, and cluster training data.
Analyze product usage data to find improvement areas for ASR processes.
Implement improved training recipes, primarily using Python.
Discuss and present ideas and results within the research team.
Enhance ASR performance in Thai.
Key Requirements:
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field.
Native or C1 Level in Thai.
5+ years of experience in speech technology, computational linguistics, etc.
Extensive knowledge of end-to-end ASR and statistical language modeling.
Good software engineering skills, especially in Python and Linux/Windows environments.
Solid communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
Familiarity with data analysis tools.
Active contributions to relevant open-source projects.
