For our client we are looking for a PMO In-sourcing of applications (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible (100% REMOTE).

Initial Contract Duration: till 31.08.2025

Budget: 60 man days

Remote: 100% in EMEA Time zone

Tasks

  • Take full responsibility for the project progress reporting to ensure that deliverables which are in the scope of the project are delivered within agreed cost, time, resource utilization

  • Support the steering and controlling of external provider that are responsible for the migration and the future hosting of applications

  • Ensure that project controls for costs, resources, changes, risks and issues are in place

  • Lead communication and manages expectations of the project stakeholders

  • Plan and monitor the project progress and resource consumption of the project against the base lined project plan

  • Point out if appropriate action needs to be taken, where the team performance deviates from agreed tolerances, e. g. escalate issues which slow down or block the project progress

Skills:

  • Experienced in Carve-out / in-sourcing of applications

  • Experenced in cloud to cloud migrations

  • Experienced in usage of Atlassian products Confluence & Jira

  • Experienced in building up operating models and ITSM processes

  • IT project management experience in an IT infrastructure environment

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies

Language:

  • English (min C1)

Project description:

  • In-sourcing of multiple (business critical) applications and building an effective operating model for these applications

  • Applications are hosted and operated by an external provider, incl. depending infrastructure and (ITSM) processes

  • All applications must be migrated from an external Cloud tenant into an internal Cloud tenant operated by an external service provider

  • Missing processes and operations capabilities need to be established
